When I started climbing in the Himalaya I found that, although I trained for several hours a day and my lungs were in great shape, my legs struggled on the descent portion of my climbs. Carrie found that I was training hard, but not necessarily training smarter.  After adding her strength workouts, I had no more issues in the mountains, and I successfully summitted and descended Everest, Denali and completed the Seven Summits circuit.
