Improve your mechanics, reduce injury risk, and build strength.  This 6-week strength training program is adapted from Carrie's training programs used with professional distance runners.  Modified for beginner and intermediate-level runners, the program involves 15-45 minute mobility, movement, and strength workouts to be performed 4-6 times per week.  It should be used in conjunction with you current run training program.

By popular demand, this strength program is designed for runners who have a basic level of weight training experience.  It is also great for high school runners who need some ballistic work for racing season!  The "Champion" Program involves the same balanced themes as the "World Class" Program but offers slightly more complex and explosive movements.  The program involves 15-45 minute mobility, movement, and strength workouts. Use these workouts 4-6 times per week in conjunction with you current run training program.
